Holafly found 209.5 restaurants and 43.5 attractions per square kilometre — the highest of any city studied. That means even a short trip feels genuinely full. Base yourself in the Marais or Saint-Germain-des-Prés and you can walk between cafés, galleries, riverbanks and iconic landmarks without spending your whole trip in a taxi. Three nights in a mid-range hotel averaged around $606, so budget accordingly.

The airport is only 7 kilometres from the city centre. Neighbourhoods like Baixa, Chiado, Alfama and Bairro Alto sit close enough together that a single day can hold a pastel de nata at breakfast, a wander through Alfama's alleys, a long riverside lunch and a proper dinner out. It rewards slow exploration without punishing you for having limited time.
